Box of Tricks Theatre is rooted in story-telling. At the heart of our vision is a desire to create work that challenges and inspires. We are drawn to plays old and new that have an immediacy and relevance today: the stories that need to be told, the voices that need to be heard.
We are committed to developing new work and staging productions that go beyond the everyday. Through our New Tricks readings, we are forging relationships with emerging talent and developing dynamic new plays of the future. Our Word:Play initiative - one word, six new plays - gives playwrights an opportunity to play and create, driving their writing in new directions.
As a company, we are continually looking forward, seeking new challenges and scaling new heights; producing bold and vibrant theatre on the London stage and beyond.
