Word:Play is an ambitious new project for exciting new writing. Six 15-minute plays, from six emerging playwrights, have been specially commissioned, with one simple premise: one word, six new plays. For our first cycle, the word of inspiration is "tradition".
The Boys in the Tower, Becky Prestwich
A mother and father struggle to accept the loss of their youngest son. Two interweaving monologues explore grief and memory.
The Miracle Killer, Kenneth Emson
Two lovers burn a candle for their lost daughter in the woods. But will they find solace, or only more pain?
